Borellith is a lithium silicate based concrete protection agent that penetrates the concrete more deeply and evenly than potassium and sodium based products.

Borellith concrete protection seals the surface structure of concrete by means of a chemical reaction.
The penetration and the reaction take place uniformly.
This contributes to the guarantee of a protective sealed and hardened inorganic layer in the concrete.

Borellith is not film-forming and vapour pervious.
It is durable, economical in use and is effective under all conditions.

Borellith impregnation in concrete:

Pouring and hydration
The granulate works its way to the bottom of the mass, causing the water to be forced upwards.

Channel formation
The channels (so-called bleed channels) are created as the water is forced upwards by the downward pressure of the granulate.

Free lime and migration.
Migration of free lime in the porous mass is shown in yellow. Purple indicates the penetration of foreign substances following treatment.

Borellith impregnation.
Borellith reacts with the free lime and non-hydrated cement, narrows the pores and in turn hardens and seals the concrete surface.
